Money shouldn’t be a mystery — and at YES, we believe every young person deserves the tools to build a stable financial future. That’s why we’ve partnered with SECU (State Employees Credit Union) to offer free, accessible financial education for current YES participants and alums.
Twice a month, SECU’s financial educators lead workshops and one-on-one sessions right here at YES — covering the real stuff: budgeting, saving, banking basics, and how to build credit from the ground up. No financial background needed. No judgment. Just practical tools you can use now.
What’s included:
• Twice-monthly group workshops led by SECU financial educators
• One-on-one financial coaching sessions
• Online tools and budgeting resources available through SECU
• Topics include: budgeting, saving, banking, credit building, and financial goal-setting
Who can participate:
Open to all current YES participants and alums, ages 14–25. No prior financial knowledge required — show up.
Starting May 2026. Stay connected for scheduling updates.”
